A Korean summer tradition sits at the centre of Glow Recipe’s latest launch, translated into a barrier-focused moisturiser and a limited-edition collaboration with Beautyblender.

When temperatures rise in Korea, hwachae (화채) is a chilled watermelon punch that functions as a seasonal ritual built around refreshment and restoration. It is this idea of cooling, replenishing hydration that anchors Glow Recipe’s newest release: the Watermelon Milk™ Peptide Glow Cushion Cream.

Developed as a refillable moisturiser for dry and sensitive skin, the formula introduces Watermelon Milk™. It is a blend of watermelon extract and moisture-sealing squalane suspended in a lightweight cushion texture designed to melt into skin on contact. The finish is soft and luminous, sitting between hydration and barrier care without heaviness.

The formula is built around more than 10 peptides, including copper tripeptide, alongside glycerin, panthenol and ceramides. According to the brand, it delivers hydration up to 10 layers deep, provides up to 100 hours of moisture, and supports barrier repair in 10 minutes. It is also fragrance-free, silicone-free, non-comedogenic, vegan, cruelty-free and refillable.

Alongside the launch, Glow Recipe partners with Beautyblender on a limited-edition kit that extends its Watermelon franchise into makeup application. The set includes Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops (15ml), Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist (30ml), Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dewy Flush (12ml), and a new Watermelon Glow Beautyblender, the first custom sponge created for the collaboration.

Designed to bridge skincare and makeup, the sponge is used to press serums, mists and complexion products into skin for a seamless finish. The co-founders also recommend misting the sponge before application to enhance absorption and layering.

The Watermelon Milk™ Peptide Glow Cushion Cream (S$64) and Glow Recipe x Beautyblender Kit (S$60) are available in stores and online at Sephora Singapore.
